Tucked beneath the majestic Coromandel Ranges and sheltered by the Aldermen, Shoe, and Slipper Islands - with iconic Mt. Paku standing watch - lies the coastal gem of Tairua. Our welcoming, family-friendly campground is the perfect mix of natural beauty and everyday convenience.
Just a short stroll away, you’ll find the harbour, local shops, cafes, restaurants, and a vibrant playground. With Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach around 20km away, we're an ideal base for exploring the wonders of the Coromandel Peninsula.
We offer a range of accommodation to suit every traveller, including cabins, a spacious Family Room, and both Powered and Non-Powered sites. Most of our sites are approximately 8 by 5 metres, giving you plenty of space for your gear.
We're proud to be a pet-friendly campground, welcoming your four-legged companions all year round. We simply ask that everyone respects a few easy rules to keep it enjoyable for all.
